This site had humble beginnings and was intended as a means of sharing our wedding photos with friends and family. It then became a bit of a project for me, so I learned a bit of CSS from various places on the net and eventually came up with something that I was reasonably pleased with.
A friend then asked if I would help develop the site for his new business and, all of a sudden, I had all the excuse I needed to learn more.
The site was designed with Dreamweaver MX and Fireworks MX. The navigation buttons and much of the positioning are taken care of by CSS.
Lorraine and I were married in Scotland in October 2002. I'm a Scot, from Prestwick in Ayrshire, and Lorraine's parents now live in Cornwall. We lived in Luxembourg together for seven years, where our daughter and son were born in 2004 and 2006 respectively. We moved to the Isle of Arran in Scotland in early 2008.
As of around 2007, I slowly got out of the habit of updating this site and now most of my online content is to be found on my Vox blog at cams.vox.com. Check out the Online presence links on the left to see where else I am online.
